TSCR Steel is the newest Steel Challenge Shooting Association member club in the State of Georgia. We are located at the South River Gub Club in Covington, GA and our matches are held the 3rd Sunday of each month. Come on out and Get Yer Steel On!

Steel Challenge is a fun match that is both simple to shoot yet devilishly difficult to master. Unlike some other action shooting sports, Steel Challenge competition is very spectator friendly with all the action right before your eyes during a match. The simple, consistent format paired with .22LR Rimfire Divisions make Steel Challenge about the perfect platform for introducing juniors and first timers to competitive shooting. For the more experienced shooter, Steel Challenge offers a concentrated day of draw, transition, speed and accuracy training that can't be beat.

Some quick facts about Steel Challenge shooting at TSCR Steel

• TSCR Steel will be supporting all Six SCSA Divisions including Long Gun
• Long Gun will be limited to .22LR and Pistol Calibers ONLY
• Pistol calibers will be .22LR or 9mm/38SPL through 45ACP
• Of 8 possible stages, we will shoot 6 in any given match.
• A match will have a 150 round minimum count but it's best to bring 200-250 rounds.
• You will need at least 5 magazines to keep the match flowing.
• Rimfire divisions do not require a holster, you start from a low ready position.
• All centerfire categories start from the surrender position with a holstered pistol.
• No power factor is involved but bullets have to be traveling at least 750 fps.
• You do not have to be a member of SCSA or SRGC to shoot, although we encourage it.
• If you can arrive a few minutes early to help set-up we would appreciate the assistence.
